Spokane PD salary & Benefits

Salary

Uniformed Positions:

Entry-level, Certified, and Lateral Police Officers

Both Entry-level and Lateral officers start on the Police Officer scale.

Entry-level officers advance to Senior Police Officer after 5 years of service with SPD.

Lateral Police Officer pay is based on total years of CJTC-recognized LE service, rounding down to the nearest level. For example, if you have 4 years of experience at your previous agency, you would start at the 3-year pay rate. After 3 years of service with SPD, Laterals move to Senior Police Officer.
